The Knights of Columbus was founded by Fr. McGiveny to assist widows and the poor of his parish and continues to do so in parishes throughout the world with finances and a variety of helping hands.
Our local Ingersoll Council 2069 was established in 1919 and has supported Sacred Heart parish since this time.


Within our parish we:

• Provide Academic awards to graduating students at IDCI and St Mary’s high school.
• Support Right to Life.
• Support Big Brothers and Sisters.
• Support Sakura House.
• Support Salvation Army Foodbank.
• Support Coats for families.
• And many other local Charities.

• a monthly Communion Breakfast for the parish (except July & August);
• annual ladies’ night Bar-B-Q - June;
• hold annual fundraisers with a Turkey Bingo for Christmas and our ongoing collection of cans.

 
We are here to provide support for our pastor whenever the need arises whether it be financial or with physical hands-on.

We invite all Catholic men 18 and over to join us in our efforts.
